
Chandigarh Police launched an investigation after the lifeless body of a 22-year-old man was found in the forested area of Raipur Khurd on Monday afternoon. The deceased, identified as Ravinder, was a resident of the same locality.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by Mauli Jagran police station in-charge Hari Om arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Upon preliminary examination, officers found no visible injuries on Ravinder’s body, leaving the cause of death uncertain.
Authorities have ruled out both murder and suicide due to the absence of external wounds. According to his family, Ravinder had been missing since Sunday afternoon, raising concerns about the circumstances leading to his death.
The case remains shrouded in mystery as investigators await the results of the post-mortem examination, which will provide crucial insights into what may have happened. Meanwhile, police continue to gather information to piece together the final hours of the young man’s life.
