Geet MP3 is ready to deliver yet another Punjabi web series “500 Meter”. Starring Kartar Cheema in the lead, 500 Meter is a crime thriller inspired by real events. The trailer of the webs series is officially out on Chaupal’s Youtube Channel. The web series releases on 18 May, 2023.
The trailer starts with a look at the facts highlighting the existing problem of kidnapping cases in India. “Around 100 thousand kidnappings are reported in India every year, out of which 60% of children are never found.” The data sums up why the web series is an important step towards spreading awareness about the little known issue and building a safer society for the children.
A child has mysteriously gone missing and the price his family has to pay is a whopping ₹50 Lakhs. Approaching Police is little help for the helpless family. This brings us to Inspector Rajvir Singh (Kartar Cheema), who is the only man that can help the family in this case.
However, this isn’t a piece of cake even for Inspector Rajvir Singh of the Crime Branch. The criminal is on a kidnapping hunt and it is on Rajvir Singh to stop the heinous crime. The Inspector finds a mind breaking clue at the end of the trailer that brings us to the title of the web series. The criminal is within 500 meters reach!
