Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal
‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’ starring Karan Kundra, Reem and Gashmeer Mahajani was an exact copy of The Vampire Diaries. Made on its lines, Unfortunately it did not work at all.

Dil Se Dil Tak
The show starring Siddharth Shukla, Rashami Desai and Jasmin Bhasin was inspired by the 2001 film ‘Chori Chori Chupke Chupke’ starring Salman Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta. This show was based on surrogacy and its story was also similar.

Do Hanson Ka Joda
The show ‘Do Hanson Ka Joda’ was inspired by Anushka Sharma and Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. Bigg Boss 16 finalist Shaleen Bhanot worked in this show, whose character was similar to Shahrukh in the film.

Bado Bahu
Everything from the story to the posters of the show was copied from the Hindi film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar. The TV show featured Prince Narula, who is carrying his overweight wife Rytasha Rathore on his shoulders like in a Bollywood movie.

Bidai
This 2007 show was completely based on Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Vivah’, which is a film completely based on Indian marriage. Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao were in lead roles in this film. The show was so similar that they did not change the character of Babuji because Alok Nath played the character of Babuji in the film just like in the TV show.

Naagin
The TV show ‘Naagin’ starring Mouni Roy in the lead role is adapted from Sridevi’s 1986 blockbuster film ‘Nagina’. However, this show is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The show has already become a franchise, with several sequels, with different TV actors playing the characters.
