The makers of Laal Singh Chaddha have again decided to push the release date of the film to April next year. This is the second time the team has decided to postpone the release date. First, it was scheduled for its release on Christmas 2021, then on 11th February 2022 and now the final release which has been locked by the makers is on Baisakhi 2022.
Laal Singh Chaddha will hit the theaters on 14th April 2022, on the Baisakhi festival. Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan will play as the main leads in the movie whereas, Baga Chaitanya and Mona Singh will be the pivotal characters in the upcoming movie. This will also mark the debut of Naga Chaitanya in Bollywood.
This Aamir Khan starrer is the remake of the Oscar Award-winning Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’ which featured Tom Hanks in the titular role. If reports are to be believed then Laal Singh Chaddha will recreate some important post-independent incidents like the 1999 Kargil War, 1983 Cricket World Cup, Emergency, Operation Blue Star, etc.
The shooting for this film was done in several parts of the country including the main scenes which were shot in Punjab and Ladakh. Shahrukh Khan is also expected to be a cameo character in the upcoming movie. And if the above-mentioned things turn out to be true then this will surely be a blockbuster as the audiences are waiting for this film to be released for a long time now.

Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Advait Chandan, produced under Aamir Khan Productions & Viacom18 Studios and is all set for its festive release on Baisakhi 2022, 14th April. Laal Singh Chaddha is going to clash with Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2. 14th April will mark the clash of two Bollywood biggies now. KGF: Chapter 2 was also one of the most anticipated films as its release was pending for a long time now. Let us wait to witness the magic on the big screens in April 2022.
