The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), in the wake of thw upcoming assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, announced six more guarantees in the state today, during a party function held in Mandi. Addressing the public gathering, Delhi’s deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Punjab’s CM Bhagwant Mann announced “Kejriwal’s Guarantees”.

Let’s have a look at six guarantees announced by the AAP today in Himachal Pradesh.
1. If AAP comes to power, 6 lakh jobs will be provided to the youth, and ₹3000 per month of allowance to each each unemployed, until they get a job. Additionally, Mr. Sisodia stated that the upcoming AAP gove will bring a law and strict punishment against the paperleaks, ensuing to conduct all the exams on time.
2. After the Aam Aadmi Party forms the government in Himachal, corruption would be wiped out of the state. The government will take strict actions to completely eradicate the alleged bribes taken by various government officials in different departments.
3. The upcoming AAP government will put an end to the atmosphere of fear amongst the business persons. Moreover, a VAT Amnesty scheme would be brought in, and within six months, the VAT amount will be repaid. Furthermore, an advisory council will also be established, to give representation to every businessman, and a single window system would be introduced for the clearance of works related to the tourism industry.
4. The farmers and apple orchards will get a fair support price for their horticultural and agricultural produce. Farmers would have an affordable access to seeds, fertilisers, herbicides, and insecticides. Market yards, cold storage facilities, and processing facilities would be built in Himachal Pradesh for the storing, processing, and marketing of the produce. The manufacturing of cartons and trays will be ensured in Himachal itself, in order to deliver them at affordable prices for the packaging.
5. Each gram pamchayat would be given ₹10 lakh of development fund every year, and a regular salary of ₹10,000 per month would be provided to the ‘pradhans’ of gram panchayats, after the AAP comes to power.
6. The upcoming Aam Aadmi Party government would introduce a “Tirth Yatra Scheme” for senior citizens, in which, they would be able to visit any pilgrimage of their choice. Moreover, from their travel to stay and food, everything will be free of cost.
Furthermore, with the announcement of these six guarantees in Himachal Pradesh, the Aam Aadmi Party has moved one step ahead in the political battle in the state. As speculated, the assembly elections would take place in the first or second week of November.
This time, with the AAP emerging as a third option, the political battle in Himachal has taken an interesting turn; it will be a tough three cornered contest amongst the BJP, INC and the AAP.
