‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ may get another setback this week. Abdul has suddenly disappeared from the show, which suggests that might be the reason for actor Sharad Sankla leaving the show. But is this really happening? Let us tell you. As of now there is no news of Sharad Sankla being replaced in the show. However, gossip mills are abuzz that the actor has actually left the show in May.
Sharad Sankla has been associated with the show since the beginning. Earlier he used to get Rs 50 per day, then later after working in TV serials, today he is the owner of two restaurants in Mumbai. Sharad, like many actors, has been associated with the show for 16 years and recently celebrated the success with the team. Sharad also celebrated his birthday on the sets.
It was shown in the show that Dr. Hathi’s son Goli had gone out and he went missing. This was to replace Kush Shah. Earlier it was reported that Kush has gone to America for his studies and hence his character was certain to be changed someday. However, there is no confirmation about Abdul. His last post on his Instagram profile is about Sharad feeling confident on the sets of TMKOC.
This shows that the actor is not facing that much trouble and he can continue playing the character of Abdul in the show. It is to be noted that the actors (Shailesh Lodha, Jennifer Bansiwal) who left the show all had issues with the production house and thus, beyond TMKOC, they moved on. Something similar happened with Gurucharan Singh Sodhi, who had gone missing in real life, but is back and on the way to recovery.
The subject of Abdul has been touched upon for almost four episodes now. It started on Saturday, when Madhavi said Abdul’s phone was unreachable. After Saturday evening he had not opened his shop nor informed anyone about his whereabouts. Due to this, the members of Gokuldham Society have become worried as to where one of their own might have gone without leaving any trace. Thus, they seek help from Chalu Pandey, but given his history with the society, he too doubts that Abdul will return.
