Abhishek Bachchan bags Shoojit Sircar’s Movie; Major Comeback in August 2023

Abhishek Bachchan, a  popular Bollywood actor, is known for his remarkable roles in Bunty aur Babli, Dostana, Bluff Master etc. On June 30, this year, he is all set to complete 23 years in this industry. In 2000, his debut film Refugee got released. Recently, his mysterious character in his last hit ‘Breathe: Into the shadows’ was highly appreciated. Apart from this, he hasn’t given a theatrical hit in the past 5 years. In 2018, his movie Manmarziyaan was released. 

He gave a major hit in the movie Ludo in 2020. In 2021 his movie Big Bull released, Bob Viswas in 2021 and Dasvi in 2022. All of these movies were OTT releases. Interestingly, in 2023 Or 2024, he is all set to make a comeback. Recently, in an interview with ET Times, he revealed that he will be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s next film nearly around August this month. 

Shoojit Sircar has also worked with Amitabh Bachchan. They both collaborated on a project involving Gujarat Tourism. He then worked in Shoebit but it could never make it to the big screen. After that he and Big B worked in Piku in 2015. This movie was a major hit and worn everyone’s heart at the first glance and won 3 national awards. 

Fans are wondering whether the movie with Abhishek Bachchan will be a hit or not. 

Apart from the Bollywood movies, he completed SSS7 in 2019 which is a remake of Tamil film Oththa Seruppu Size 7. It will be followed by R Balki’s Ghoomer, co-starring Saiyami Kher and Shabana Azmi.

Abhishek Bachchan is also a part of another Tamil Remake KD, 2019. He recently completed his film which is directed by Remo D’ Souza. Everyone is speculating that this movie is called Dancing Dad which is the same film that Salman was supposed to bag. However, the script of Abhishek’s movie has a completely different story.
