In a fiery press conference from Hyderabad, his Lok Sabha constituency, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi didn’t mince words as he condemned the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. With a visible mix of grief and rage, he said, “Inn kameeno, haramzaado ne jo harkat ki, wahan par naam pooch kar goli maare, samudaaya pooch kar marein, iski accountability toh honi chaiye.”
Owaisi strongly held Pakistan accountable, claiming the attackers had full support from across the border. “These terrorists came from Pakistan, backed by ISI and the country’s entire establishment,” he asserted, urging the Indian government to act decisively and stop brushing aside repeated security failures.
He further criticized the government’s inconsistency, strict crackdowns on civilians in Kashmir while heavily armed terrorists continue to breach borders and kill soldiers. “Don’t just call soldiers martyrs; protect them. Accountability must be enforced at the highest levels,” Owaisi said, referencing the four Army personnel who reportedly lost their lives in the ambush.
His emotional outburst in Parliament earlier also made headlines, where he used unfiltered language to express the collective national fury. Owaisi’s remarks have sparked widespread debate, with many lauding him for voicing what the country feels but few dare to say aloud.
