Actor Preeti Gupta Accuses Blinkit of Unsafe Late-Night Visit by Strangers

Acting coach Preeti Gupta has accused Blinkit of compromising her safety by sending two unfamiliar men to her home late at night for what was supposedly a training session. Living alone, Gupta claimed that one of the men made her feel uncomfortable with his behavior. “One of them stared at me in a way that made me deeply uncomfortable—borderline threatening. Why was he even there? Who approved this decision?” she wrote in an Instagram post.

Gupta also criticized Blinkit’s training practices, calling the incident a “dangerous” lapse in judgment. Despite multiple attempts to escalate the matter and requests for managerial contact, she said she was told to wait until the following day for a response, which left her frustrated and searching for accountability.

“In a country where we read about crimes against women every single day, this lack of basic safety protocols is not just careless—it’s dangerous,” Gupta stated.

In her post, she expressed disappointment over Blinkit’s inaction and poor communication, underscoring the vulnerability that women face in a society where safety is frequently overlooked. She tagged Blinkit, Zomato, and CEO Deepinder Goyal, asking, “Are we unsafe in our own homes??? What’s the action? Where is the accountability?” alongside screenshots of her conversation with a Blinkit support executive.

Gupta’s concerns resonated with many, who showed support in the comments, voicing solidarity and concern over safety and the need for accountability. One user commented, “So happy you called this out, Preeti. Hope all quick commerce folks notice this and prevent a tragedy waiting to happen.”

Another added, “Fight head on! We are with you @theprettygupta. You are never alone, we are here to have your back.”
