Bollywood Actress Payal Rohatgi has again landed in trouble as a FIR has been registered against her in Pune. As per reports, Congress leader; Sangita Tiwari and office bearers of Pune City Congress Committee have filed the complaint against the actress for creating a defamatory video about the Nehru-Gandhi family. She has been booked under the sections 153A for promoting communal disharmony, 500 for punishment for defamation and 502 for statements conducting to public mischief of Indian Penal Code.
Ramesh iyer, the spokesperson of Pune City Congress said in a statement,
“Payal Rohatgi has repeatedly made derogatory comments about the Nehru Gandhi family. We came across one such post, which we believe has been made recently. Subsequently, the office-bearers of the Pune City Congress committee, including Ramesh Bagwe, Mohan Joshi, Datta Bahirat, Sangeeta Tiwari and myself, met senior police officials from the cyber crime cell. A formal complaint in the case was given by Sangeet Tiwari. The police have acted on it and a case has been registered at Shivaji Nagar police station.”
Earlier also, the actress had been involved in various controversies which also include some spreading hate and disharmony. Recently Payal Rohatgi was arrested by Satellite Police in Gujarat for threatening her society members.
