Adipurush writer apologizes for hurting sentiments of audience

Admist the on going controversy over the film “Adipurush” which got released on 16th June and has proved to be a belly flop at the box office. According to the reports, Adipurush has struggled to earn even Rs 1 crore.

Manoj Muntashir, the dialogue writer of the film has extended unconditional apologizes on instagram and tweeter for hurting the sentiments of people. He said “I accept people’s emotions have been hurt by Adipurush. With folded hands, I extend my unconditional apologies.” He further added, “May Prabhu Bajrang Bali keep us united and grant us strength to serve our sacred Sanatan and our great nation.” He also shared the note in Hindi.

People had different reactions to the post like. Where some people commented ” he must have apologized the day after the film was released” , “you must have done it earlier “. Some people also reacted positively by commenting “better late than never”! , “May Bajrang Bali give you power”.

The film received extreme criticism for VFX, screenplay, visuals and Dialogues after it got released. Many people even didn’t liked the acting.

Adipurush is a screen adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana that revolves around the triumph of Good over Evil. Adipurush is directed by Om Raut, starring Prabhas as Raghav (Ram) and kriti sanon as Janaki (sita) along with saif ali khan, sunny singh, siddhant, vatsal sheth, Devdatta. Adipurush had a budget of 700 crores INR (2023).
