Adolescence Breaks Records, Surpasses Stranger Things 3 and Bridgerton 2 on Netflix Charts

Netflix’s latest hit series, Adolescence, has skyrocketed to a top position on the platform’s most-watched TV charts, surpassing some of its most acclaimed shows. Garnering an astounding 96.7 million views, the series has outperformed Stranger Things 3 and Bridgerton Season 2 in viewership numbers.

With this milestone, Adolescence has secured the ninth spot on Netflix’s all-time list of most popular English-language series. This remarkable feat pushed Stranger Things 3 to the tenth position with 94.8 million views, while Bridgerton Season 2, previously holding 93.8 million views, has been completely knocked off the rankings.

What makes this achievement even more impressive is that Adolescence reached 96.7 million views within just 17 days. Netflix typically bases its rankings on a 91-day viewing period, meaning the show still has over two months to further solidify its place on the list.

Globally, Squid Game remains Netflix’s most-watched show, while Wednesday continues to hold the top spot among English-language series.

During the week of March 24–30, Adolescence dominated Netflix’s English TV charts again with 30.4 million views, securing a place in the Top 10 across all 93 countries where rankings are available.

Shonda Rhimes’ The Residence claimed the second spot on the weekly English TV list with 8.8 million views, while reality series Million Dollar Secret took third place with 3.7 million views.

On the film front, The Life List emerged as the most-watched movie with 24.4 million views, while The Electric State followed closely in second place with 7.6 million views.
