Alia Bhatt Gives Befitting Reply To Kangana Ranaut For Calling Her ‘Papa Ki Pari’

Alia Bhatt is all set to hit the big screens on 25 February with the film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. But ahead of its release, Kangana Ranaut recently targetted her upcoming film. Kangana shared a note on her Instagram Stories and said ‘wrong cast’ is the film’s biggest mistake. The actress also said ‘this Friday, 200 crores will burn to ashes at the box office’.

The actress is always seen avoiding the criticism, but this time, Alia has given a befitting reply by using a quote from the Bhagavad Gita. During her launch of the song ‘Meri Jaan’ from the upcoming film, she quoted to PTI, “Lord Krishna had said in the Gita that inaction is an action. That’s all I want to say.”

Further, without directly naming Alia, Kangana called her ‘papa ki pari’, ‘romcom bimbo’ and Mahesh Bhatt a ‘movie mafia’. Kangana in her note said that Hindi films are allegedly losing screens to South and Hollywood films because Bollywood is not ready to learn.

Meanwhile, speaking of the film, it has been directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and stars Alia as Gangubai, the matriarch of Kamathipura who fought for the rights of sex workers. The film is inspired by a chapter in Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’.
