The 69th National Film Awards were held on Tuesday. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt received the award for the “Best actress” for her talented performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. The ceremony was held at the Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi and was attended by our honourable president Droupadi Murmu.
Alia Bhatt caught the eye of the audience as the actress adorned her wedding saree for the award ceremony. Alia styled her wedding saree designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee in a different way. In many interviews we have heard Alia Bhatt talking about repeating her outfits and how she believes that it is very normal for a celebrity to repeat her outfit.
Alia Bhatt complemented her saree with a choker necklace and matching earrings. She tied her hair in a bun with white rose. Alia looked gorgeous in her ivory saree as she completed her look with a simple red bindi and minimal makeup. Alia Bhatt was accompanied by her husband actor Ranbir Kapoor for the award ceremony. Ranbir wore a black outfit.

Gangubai Kathiawadi was a film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and was released in February 2022. The film is a true story based on the life of Gangubai Harjeevandas who was a social activist and a prostitute.
