
Allu Arjun’s swag made a big bang in the year 2021. Three years after Sukumar’s directorial Pushpa The Rise, Pushparaj is making a comeback with Pushpa 2; The Rule, that too in a bang.
Even before the release, there was a buzz that the makers of Pushpa 2 have become rich. This upcoming film has done a business of one thousand crore rupees in pre-release. Now the makers have broken the silence on these reports.
Producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers has given details of the theatrical and non-theatrical business of the film. Producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi held a press conference in Hyderabad on Thursday and announced that Pushpa 2: The Rule will be released on December 5. He also spoke on the claim that the film had earned more than Rs 1000 crore before its release. Ravi said-
‘Pushpa 2 did well in its non-theatrical business and earned Rs 425 crore. When we add the theatrical business, a total of more than Rs 1000 crore in pre-release business seems possible, but this is an estimate’.
According to Saccanilk, the theatrical rights of Pushpa 2 have been valued at Rs 600 crores worldwide. Talking about non-theatrical, its OTT rights have earned Rs 275 crore and satellite rights have been sold for Rs 85 crore. The music rights of the film have also reportedly been sold for Rs 65 crore. This Allu Arjun film will be released in theaters worldwide on December 5.
Pushpa The Rise, released in the year 2021, was a blockbuster. According to Bollywood Hungama, the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer film did a business of Rs 108.26 crore. The dialogues of the film and the song Oo Antava became very popular. Allu Arjun was also awarded the National Award for this film.
