Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil’s ‘Pushpa 2 – The Rule’ has started its third week with a bang. On Friday, 20 December, it entered the 1000 crore club in the country. This is the second film to achieve this feat after ‘Bahubali 2’. With this, the film has also earned more than double its budget in the country. What’s more, this action-drama directed by Sukumar is going to break a 7-year-old record in two days. It is confirmed that on Sunday, ‘Pushpa 2’ will create history by becoming the highest-grossing Indian film in the country.
The budget of ‘Pushpa 2’ is close to Rs 500 crore. In 16 days, it has made a net collection of Rs 1004.35 crore in all five languages in the country. Before this, only ‘Bahubali 2′ entered the 1000 crore club in 2017. However, it took Prabhas’ film about 5 weeks to achieve this.

The special thing is that ‘Pushpa 2’ is now only 26.07 crores behind the record of the highest grossing Indian film in the country. Seven years ago, ‘Bahubali 2’ made this record by earning 1030.42 crores in lifetime. Allu Arjun’s film will easily cross this record on Sunday and with this it will create a new history in Indian cinema.

According to sacnilk’s report, after earning 725.80 crores in the first week and 264.80 crores in the second week, ‘Pushpa 2’ has made a net collection of Rs 13.75 crores in the country on the third Friday. A day before, on Thursday, it had earned Rs 17.65 crores. Hence, the earnings have decreased by -22%, but now there are clear signs of a jump in earnings on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday, the film has done the most business of 11 crores from the Hindi version, 2.40 crores from Telugu, 30 lakhs from the Tamil version, 3 lakhs from Kannada and 2 lakhs from Malayalam.
Talking about worldwide collections, there too ‘Pushpa 2’ is going to directly spoil the game of ‘Bahubali 2’. Allu Arjun’s film has collected a gross of about 1445 crores in 16 days at the global box office.
