In a world driven by screens and instant messages, the art of handwriting feels like a memory from the past. But Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary actor and a man of deep emotion, recently reminded fans of its irreplaceable charm through a touching blog post – sparked by a simple yet meaningful gift from his son, Abhishek Bachchan.
Abhishek recently gifted his father a pen, a gesture that resonated deeply with Big B. “The age of handwriting has been overtaken by the punches on the black square,” he wrote, expressing how digital mediums have replaced the once cherished act of writing by hand. Yet, this pen reminded him of his continued love for putting ink to paper.
He fondly noted how Abhishek even paid attention to the details – selecting a nib suited to Big B’s writing hand, something most wouldn’t notice. This small but thoughtful act reflected the quiet understanding the father-son duo shares.
Adding a spiritual touch to his day, Amitabh shared he began his morning with blessings at Siddhivinayak Temple and Babulnath Mandir, feeling truly grateful and connected.
In a lighter mood, he also joked about his long-standing struggle to cross 49 million followers on X (Twitter), seeking ideas from fans to finally hit 50 million. “Kuch upaaye batayiye,” he humorously asked.
His message rekindled the emotional bond of handwritten letters, standing as a gentle reminder that while the digital world moves fast, feelings etched in ink linger longer.
