Ayushmann Khurana’s Dream Girl was a massive hit in 2019. The makers had already announced its sequel a long time ago. The fans are waiting for its further updates and here we are with an update that we all were waiting for, ‘Who will be the lead actress opposite Ayushmann this time?’
As per the report of Pinkvilla,, bollywood’s young actress Ananya Panday has been roped in to play the lead role in the awaited sequel.

Before Ananya was confirmed for the lead role, rumors suggested Tejasswi Prakash was all set to make her Bollywood debut with the sequel of Raaj Shaandilyaa’s Dream Girl. Some reports also hinted at the pairing of Sara Ali Khan with Ayushmann in the movie.
Talking about 2019 movie Dream Girl, it was a Bollywood comedy movie with a relatively unique concept and storyline that received positive response from fans. Nushrat Bharucha played the lead role opposite Ayushmann in the film.

Now coming back to the sequel, Dream Girl 2 is still to get a final release date but most probably it will be released later this year. Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, other cast of the movie has not been revealed yet. More details about the film are still awaited.
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday is currently busy promoting her upcoming movie Liger with Vijay Deverakonda, releasing on August 25 this year.
