Anu Malik Allegedly Stole Israel’s National Anthem, Public Accuses Video From Olympics Goes Viral

One of the most famous Indian Music Directors, Anu Malik has been accused of stealing the National Anthem of Israel and using it in one of his songs ‘Mera Mulk Mera Desh’. Ironically the song’s named My Country while it is stolen from Israel’s National Anthem.

Artem Dolgopyat won Israel’s second-ever Gold Medal in Olympics history while the first-ever Gold Medal in the event Gymnastics at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The last Gold Medal for Israel at the Olympics was won by Gal Fridman in the Men’s Sailbord event at the 2004 Athens Olympics. 

Artem’s all-time achievement for his country made him stand on top of the Olympic podium with the Gold Medal worn around his neck and Israel’s National Anthem, Hatikvah, playing in the stadium. However, Netizens noticed something familiar falling to their ears and immediately caught that the Israel’s National Anthem sounds just like the song from Ajay Devgan’s ‘Diljale’, produced by Anu Malik, ‘Mera Mulk Mera Desh’. 

Diljale is a 1996 Indian Classic starring Ajay Devgan and Sonali Bendre in the lead roles. Anu Malik, who’s undoubtedly one of the most famous Bollywood music producers of all-time, produced the song ‘Mera Mulk Mera Desh’ for the movie and Netizens accused him of stealing the tune as soon as they heard Israel’s National Anthem playing on their Tv screens.

Anu Malik has had a history of being accused of stealing tunes from International hits. He’s been accused of even Plagiarism on multiple occasions but the producer straightforwardly denies all accusations against him. This is another allegation against him for stealing an international tune, and this time it is the National Anthem of Israel. The audience is awaiting his reaction to the blame.
