Anupam Kher Breaks Silence On Being Compared To Khans & Kapoors For Joining 200 Crore Club

The Kashmir Files is one such Bollywood film that has been grabbing headlines since its release has now again come to the spotlight. As the film has been exceptional at box office success, many questions have been raised. 

But actor Anupam Kher has finally broke his silence and opened up on the film entering the 200-crore club where the Khans and Kapoors have had a monopoly for a while. Anupam took to Instagram to celebrate by sharing a bunch of pics from the sets. He also penned down a long and heartfelt note summing up his entire journey from being an average boy to the start of a 200 crore film. He also talked about the significance of his father in his life and on ‘The Kashmir Files’. 

He concluded by saying, From being a clerk’s son to the member of the 200 crore club at 67 is what dreams are made of. This is called the ultimate.

Explaining his thoughts about The Kashmir Files entering the 200 crore club, Anupam Kher said that he was currently shooting and in normal life, he thought that if his film will do 200 crores then what will he do. He then added that he will go mad, and will run on the streets. “As everyone knows there’s a hierarchy here, only films of big heroes cross 100-200 crores.”

When said that he shouldn’t be apologetic about joining that box office club with the Khans and Kapoors, Anupam Kher emphasized that he isn’t apologetic at all and said, “I think abhi middle class feeling bahaar aa rahi hogi, but I am very thrilled. Thank you for including me”

For the unversed, the film is based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits back in 1990 and has sparked several discussions across the country.
