Director Navdeep Singh is all set to come up with a movie titled: Kaneda. He is trying to do this project for the last five years. After the release of NH10 in 2015, Navdeep Singh promised their audience to come up with his gangster drama very soon.
Filmmaker Navdeep Singh is finally ready to start his five-year dream project with the actor Sunny Kaushal in the lead role, who recently marked his debuts in the series ‘The Forgotten Army’ as the character Kabir Khan, two years back Diljit Dosanjh, Arjun Kapoor, and Anushka Sharma were the choice for the lead role but somehow this caste didn’t work as per some unknown reason.
Film Kaneda is based on Punjabi gangsters who live in Canada’s ethnically diverse city Vancouver. Movie Titled decided after knowing Punjabi pronunciation of the North American country, the film will go on floors in March next year. The movie is being produced by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma under the Clean Slate Filmz banner, and after the massive hit web series Paatal lok this time as well directorial duty is given to Prosit Roy, who recently won Filmfare award for the best director series Paatal Lok.
