Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as “The Rebel Kid,” is facing fresh criticism online after a bold statement in a recent Zoom interview. She said she’s “proud of women who monetise their se*ualness,” adding, “If men are stupid enough to see it, pay for it, do it… they are the views.” The clip quickly went viral, with many questioning her views on empowerment and objectification.

Her comments drew mixed reactions. Some slammed her stance, calling it harmful and saying, “This is not empowerment. Women aren’t objects to be bought.” Others supported her take, arguing she was highlighting women’s right to earn from their own image. Mukhija defended her view by framing it as a response to how the internet consumes content, saying, “Good for you, girlypops, I’m proud of y’all.”
This isn’t her first brush with controversy. In February 2025, she was booked after her appearance on “India’s Got Latent” for allegedly making vulgar statements on air. That episode led to an FIR and heated online debate. Her latest remark continues to divide opinions, sparking deeper questions about feminism, online influence, and the line between agency and exploitation.
