A case has been registered against Hindi Medium actor Saba Qamar for shooting a ‘dance video’ at a historical mosque in Lahore. A local court in Pakistan on Wednesday issued an arrest warrant for the actress. Also, the court adjourned the hearing till 6 October.
Also, along with Saba, other people also landed in trouble for shooting a dance video at a historical mosque in Lahore.
Last year, the Lahore police had registered a case under section 295 of the Pakistan Penal Code for alleged ‘desecration’ of Masjid Wazir Khan. Saba Qamar and singer Bilal Saeed have been avoiding court hearings and hence Lahore’s magisterial court issued the bailable warrants.
Meanwhile, both the artist reportedly apologies after facing severe criticism and death threats on social media.

According to news portals, Saba had said, “It was a music video featuring a Nikah (marriage) scene. It was neither shot with any sort of playback music nor has it been edited to the music track.”
But, this act has sparked outrage among the people of Pakistan.
This Pakistani actress has featured opposite late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan in the 2017 film ‘Hindi Medium’ by Saket Chaudhary.
Whereas, Bilal Saeed is popularly known for his numbers such as ‘2 Number’, ‘Adhi adhi raat, ‘12 saal’ and ‘No make-up’.
