Popular TV couple Sanjeeda Shaikh, known for Punjabi movie Ashke, and Aamir Ali are now officially divorced. The news of their separation was rounding for almost a year and the talks & rumours have now finally put to rest. They both are now officially divorced from their marriage.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, a source close to the couple shared that it has been over 9 months that they both are divorced. ‘It has been around nine months since the divorce papers came through. They have moved on in their respective lives and are extremely private, thus didn’t wish to give out any official statement about the divorce’.

Aamir and Sanjeeda together have a 2-year old daughter named Ayra and the custody of their daughter is with Sanjeeda after their official divorce. It was in 2020 when the news of the couple’s separation and disturbance in marital life was floating over the social media and people got to know about their then 4-month old surrogate baby.
However, neither of the actors have opened up about their split publicly and when asked they had puzzled answers. When contacted, both of them neither confirmed nor denied about their divorced whereas, Sanjeeda mentioned ‘I just want to make my child proud’ and Aamir said that ‘I wish Sanjeeda all the happiness’. The couple didn’t ever intend to open up about their divorce publically, neither in interviews nor on social media. But they, quite a few times, post some glimpse of them sharing a good time with their daughter.
Sanjeeda Shaikh and Aamir Ali got married to each other in 2012 after a long relationship. The two participated in the popular dance show, Nach Baliye 3 and even won the title. Sanjeeda is popular for her roles in movies like ‘Ashke’ and her feature in famous song ‘Kalla Sohna Nai’.
