Aston Martin has launched its latest supercar, the Vanquish, in India with a price tag of ₹8.85 crore (ex-showroom). Limited to just 1,000 units worldwide, this high-performance model is an exclusive offering for Indian buyers. It remains one of the few sports cars powered by a V12 engine, enhanced with twin turbochargers for exceptional performance.
Under the hood, the Vanquish features a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, delivering an impressive 823 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. This powerhouse is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that channels power to the rear wheels via an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. With this setup, the Vanquish sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 345 km/h, making it Aston Martin’s fastest series-production car.
Designed for both performance and stability, the supercar boasts an extended wheelbase for enhanced ride comfort. Its suspension system includes adaptive Bilstein DTX Dampers, electric power steering, and a newly developed electronic stability control system. The car rides on 21-inch forged alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres, while carbon ceramic brakes ensure precise stopping power, featuring 410 mm front discs and 360 mm rear discs.
Aston Martin has also integrated an advanced braking system with four controllers managing Integrated Brake Slip Control, Traction Control, Vehicle Control, and Dynamics Estimation. This system enhances braking performance and overall handling, setting new standards in vehicle dynamics.
The Vanquish pairs its raw power with an aggressive yet refined design. At the front, a bold grille is accompanied by Matrix LED headlights and a sculpted splitter, reinforcing Aston Martin’s signature styling. The sleek side profile showcases carbon fiber bodywork and flush door handles, while the rear is defined by a quad-tailpipe titanium exhaust and an aerodynamic diffuser, blending elegance with an athletic presence.
With its stunning design and cutting-edge performance, the Aston Martin Vanquish stands as a remarkable addition to India’s supercar segment.
