Lovebirds Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa are all set to embrace parenthood! The couple took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the heartwarming news that they are expecting their first child together.
Their joint post featured a charming illustration of a flower-adorned cradle with the words “Baby on the way” written across it. At the bottom of the image, their names appeared alongside a single word that summed up their feelings — “Elated,” followed by red heart emojis.
Rajkummar and Patralekhaa have been together for over a decade and tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on November 15, 2021. Over the years, they’ve won hearts not just with their love story, but also with their onscreen chemistry in projects like “Citylights” and the web series “Bose: Dead/Alive”.
On the work front, Patralekhaa was last seen in “Phule”, a film based on social reformers Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule. It was directed by Anant Mahadevan and produced by Dancing Shiva Films, Kingsmen Productions, and Zee Studios.
Meanwhile, Rajkummar will next be seen in “Maalik”, playing a fierce gangster. The film, which also stars Manushi Chhillar and Prosenjit Chatterjee, is set to hit theatres on July 11.
