Badshah Bought Fake Views For 74 Lakh On A Music Video! Chargesheet Filed

It has been more than one year since the police busted the fake views racket which was allegedly being used by celebs to inflate social media followers and likes and comments on their posts. 

Recently, The Crime Branch has filed a 446-page chargesheet, saying singer Aditya Prateek Singh aka Badshah paid Rs 74 lakh to get 72 lakh views for a video. One of the accused has said that there was nothing illegal in what he did.

According to the reports of Times Of India, the charge sheet has 11 panchs, 25 witnesses and names five accused four of whom were arrested. Badshah and Koena Mitra have been shown as witnesses apart from those of officials of Chtrbox, Qyuki Digital Media Pvt Ltd and Sony Music India.

Further, even the CFO of the company who worked for Badshah has accepted that the rapper-singer paid him Rs 74,26,370 for increasing the views on the said video. Rapper Badshah, during the questioning, confessed to the police that he had bought fake views for one of his music videos, in a bid to break a world record. 

Meanwhile, earlier in a statement Badshah had said, ‘following the summons, I spoke to the Mumbai Police. I’ve categorically denied all the allegations levelled against me and made it clear that I was never involved in such practices, nor do I condone them.’

Moreover, It all started when singer Bhumi Trivedi went to Mumbai Police and filed an FIR alleging that someone is contacting people on Instagram with her fake ID.
