Ban On Internet Services In Karnal Extends Till Thursday Midnight

The farmers protest is ongoing and the farmers in Haryana are protesting outside the mini secretariat as their conversation with district administration failed. The Haryana government had suspended the mobile internet services in Karnal on Monday i.e September 6th, till September 7th Midnight. The Haryana Government had stated,

In view of the call of Kisan Mahapanchayat in Karnal district, instructions have been given to suspend internet services from 12.30 pm today to 2359 hours on September 7 to maintain law and order.”

But the government has now decided to extend the ban on the internet services till Thursday midnight.

As per reports, the protesting farmers have pitched tents outside the mini secretariat led by farmer leaders Rakesh Tikait, Yogendra Yadav and Gurnam Singh Charuni. It’s the third day of their protest, and they have been protesting day and night, sleeping in parks.

The farmers will again have a meeting with the officials about the same demands; suspension of IAS officer Ayush Sinha and a case registered against him. The investigation of the case will be on, as the Home Minister Anil Vij has recently given green flag and stated that they are ready to hold an inquiry which will also involve investigating the role of SDM.
