The largest protest in the history of humans has turned huge enough for the world to know there’s something wrong going in the country. The protest was being termed as just a regional protest by the central government saying that only the farmers of punjab and haryana are protesting. The protest soon started gaining physical support from all over the country when farmers from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar pradesh, Madhya pradesh and the south part of the country started flooding in the capital city of India.

The support that the protest has got on social media has been mind-blowing. Where punjabi celebrities had been showing constant support to the protest, soon world leaders and global celebrities started showing their support to the event. And now, the list has just gotten an inch bigger. The global popstar, Rihanna has tweeted on her official twitter handle “Why aren’t we taking about this?! #FarmersProtest”

The barbadian singer and songwriter does not need recognition of any kind. She’s one of the most famous celebrities all over the world and is regarded as one of the greatest female singers to have ever lived. She has been nominated seven times for the Billboard music award for Top female artist, most by any woman in the world and has won it twice.

The tweet by the popstar shows how far the voice of the farmers has reached. She has a huge fan following all over the world and as such, the reach of the protest is bound to go bigger. While the Indian government doesn’t seem to have found a solution for the problem, the constant increase in the support for the protest keeps on adding pressure on the government.
