Electronic Arts has officially unveiled the Battlefield 6 open beta schedule, including new maps, multiplayer modes, and challenges. The military shooter’s beta testing phase will go live across two weekends — from August 9–10 and August 14–17 — on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and EA App). Pre-loading for the Battlefield 6 open beta is already available across platforms.
Early access begins on August 7 at 1:30 PM IST for players who signed up for Battlefield Labs before July 31 or are EA Play Pro members. The first Battlefield 6 open beta weekend kicks off for everyone else on August 9 at 1:30 PM IST, ending August 11 at the same time. The second Battlefield 6 open beta will follow from August 14 to August 17.
First Open Beta: Maps, Modes, and Rewards
The first Battlefield 6 open beta weekend will feature three multiplayer maps — Siege of Cairo, Liberation Peak, and Iberian Offensive. Each map supports five modes: Conquest, Closed Weapons Breakthrough, Breakthrough, Domination, and King of the Hill.
Players will also face seven in-game challenges. Four of these will be tied to different character classes. Completing these tasks during the Battlefield 6 open beta will unlock exclusive rewards for use in the full game launching October 10, 2025.
Second Open Beta: New Map & More Game Modes
In the second Battlefield 6 open beta phase, players can access all previous maps plus a new one based in New York, titled Empire State. Two more game modes — Rush and Squad Deathmatch — will be introduced. Three additional challenges will also be available.
Platform Support & Pre-Load
The Battlefield 6 open beta supports next-gen platforms only — PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Pre-loading is live, allowing fans to be ready before servers go live.
