Deepika Padukone has been under constant radar after the controversial episode of Koffee With Karan in which she and her husband Ranveer Singh appeared as the first guests.
In the episode, Deepika revealed that she was casually seeing other men as well before committing to Ranveer. She also mentioned that while she was seeing others, Ranveer was the one who was constant on her mind.
Now,this revelation has sparked controversies and judgements as people have started slut shaming her and a similar incident happened in the Banaras Hindu University.
The students of BHU prepared a skit for a social event in which they mocked Deepika Padukone. One person was dressed like Mastani from Bajirao Mastani and on the wall, Deepika’s pictures were being displayed with various men.
Not only this, different students also dressed up like men from Deepika’s past dating history and they made fun of the actor.
Now this may seem like a soft fun skit but if we think deeply, is it right? If a woman casually dates multiple men, will she be termed as a “bad woman”?
When the incident from the university went viral on social media, netizens came to Deepika’s rescue as they slammed the students and the university for making fun of women and putting up such a distasteful skit.
