BIG BREAKING: Boris Johnson To Resign As UK Prime Minister On Thursday

The political tussle going on in the United Kingdom has finally shaken the chair of Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Recently, after the resignation of two of his ministers, he appointed Nadhim Zahawi as the new finance minister. But even the new appointments don’t seem to end the ongoing political battle in the United Kingdom.

According to the report of BBC News, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson will resign from his position on Thursday. More than 50 other ministers, including several freshly appointed ones, had deserted him following a revolt that had brought the government perilously close to collapse.

Despite trying the best to save his government, Johnson lost all except a small group of allies. It was a far cry from Johnson’s rise to power in 2019 when he won a sizable majority and won support from regions of Britain that had never voted for his Conservative Party before.

Even his newly appointed finance minister Nadhim Zahawi has advised him to resign. Nadhim on his official Twitter handle, quoted:

“Prime Minister: this is not sustainable and it will only get worse: for you, for the Conservative Party and most importantly of all the country. You must do the right thing and go now.”

Now, as per the news reports and sources, United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson will be resigning from his post on Thursday. This is considered to be the biggest jolt for Boris Johnson in his entire political career.
