Big Jolt To Mann Government: Punjab And Haryana HC Quashes The FIR Against Kumar Vishwas And Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga

A few month back, Punjab’s political temperature rose when the Punjab police officials, one morning, was spotted outside Kumar Vishwash’s residence, after which he tweeted about the same, lashing out at the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal. Similarly, the political tussle between the Mann government and BJP leaders Tejinder Pal Bagga, came into light after a day long race between Punjab and Delhi police was seen, to get Bagga.

However, today, the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has to face a major embarrassment with the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s order to quash the FIRs lodged against Kumar Vishwas as well as Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga. Furthermore, Kumar Vishwas, after the HC’s ruling, has once again slammed the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab. In a tweet, in Hindi, Kumar Vishwas stated:

“As soon as the government was formed, a baseless FIR was registered against me and the Punjab-police was sent to my house by an insecure self-obsessed dwarf. That baseless FIR has been dismissed by the High Court today. Thanks to the judiciary and those who supported and loved me. Advice to dear Anuj (younger brother) Bhagwant Mann again to safeguard the self-respect of Punjab from those ‘dwarf eyes’.”

Similarly BJP leader Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga also lashed out at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. In a tweet, Bagga stated, “Kejriwal lost in the High Court today, now he will lose Delhi too. Satyamev Jayate!” Moreover, after the quashing of the FIR against both these individuals, the Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be more aggressive against the Aam Aadmi Party and its chief Arvind Kejriwal.

Kumar Vishwas once used to be a close-aide of Delhi CM Kejriwal, but later on he parted ways with the Aam Aadmi Party. Since then, a continuous war of words has been going on between Mr. Vishwas and the Aam Aadmi Party leaders. While the AAP claims that Kumar Vishwas is an agent of the BJP, Mr. VIshwas has officially kept himself away from the electoral politics since leaving the AAP. Similarly, Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga is one of the biggest critic of the Kejriwal government as has been often seen raising his voice on various issues, against the AAP government in Delhi.
