The American prestigious magazine, Billboard follows 852 accounts on Instagram. But out of these 852, only 2 are Indians. Priyanka Chopra has become the only second Indian celebrity to have got a follow from the magazine on Instagram.
Priyanka Chopra has been featured on the Billboard charts on various occasions. Her global superhit ‘Exotic’ with Mr. Worldwide, Pitbull, debuted at number 16 on the Billboard Dance/electronic songs, entered the Canadian Top 100 at the 74th position and even made it to the 44th position on Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs and peaked the charts at number 12.
The first Indian to have been followed by Billboard on Instagram is Diljit Dosanjh. Diljit got a follow from the magazine when he released his album G.O.A.T. in 2020 and its opening track ‘GOAT’ peaked at the Top Triller Global Charts.

Her third single, a cover song of ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’ by Bonnie Raitt peaked at number 28 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart.
