
In a move aimed at easing daily urban commutes, Blinkit has introduced a new interoperable mobility solution that allows commuters to travel cashless across multiple cities using a single card. The on-demand delivery platform announced the rollout of the Blinkit Bharat Yatra NCMC Card, making public transport payments faster and queue-free.
The national common mobility card (NCMC) is powered by RuPay and issued in partnership with Pine Labs. Priced at just Rs 50, the card is being delivered through Blinkit in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, and Ahmedabad. With this launch, commuters no longer need separate metro or bus cards for different cities, marking a major step in simplifying public transport access via the Blinkit Bharat Yatra NCMC Card.

The Bharat Yatra card is a zero-KYC, prepaid mobility card designed for everyday transit use. Where can the card be used?
The card currently works across a wide range of transport networks. It is valid on metro services across all lines in Delhi and NCR, Namma Metro in Bengaluru, Mumbai Metro along with BEST bus services, Chennai Metro and MTC buses, and metro services in Ahmedabad and Kanpur. Additionally, it supports bus travel in regions such as Guwahati, Haryana, Jammu, Srinagar, Himachal Pradesh, and Aurangabad, expanding the reach of the Blinkit Bharat Yatra NCMC Card beyond major metros.
How to load money on the card
Users can top up the card digitally through the Bharat Yatra app using UPI or by scanning the QR code printed on the back of the card with any UPI app. Recharge is also available via the Bharat Connect platform by selecting the NCMC recharge option. For offline users, top-ups can be done at metro stations and bus depots by paying the customer care executive, ensuring accessibility for all commuters using the Blinkit Bharat Yatra NCMC Card.
