Animal: Bobby Deol Reveals That His Character Was Supposed To Kiss Ranbir Kapoor In The Climax

Animal film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor  has been included in the list of third highest grossing films of the year 2023.

While the all-time box office collection of Tiger 3 and Gadar 2 has been left behind, now the collection of Ranbir Kapoor’s film is expected to surpass Pathaan and Jawan as well.

However, the collection went down on Monday. Looking at the collection, it does not seem that Animal’s Collection will be able to do anything amazing in the coming weeks. But the amount of collection achieved on the weekend looks promising and may be stronger.

Recently in an exclusive interview, Bobby Deol spilled some beans about the removed scenes from the film and you’ll be surprised to know about one scene which was supposed to be shot but didn’t happen.

Bobby Deol was supposed to kiss Ranbir Kapoor?

In an exclusive interaction with The Quint, Bobby Deol recalls Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s statement regarding a crucial scene. He said “There are these two brothers, they want to kill each other, but there’s a love that they have for each other. I’m going to shoot the climax sequence with a song playing in the background, which is about love.”

Bobby further adds that as quoted by the Pinkvilla, “He (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) said, ‘You’re fighting, and you suddenly kiss him (Ranbir Kapoor), and then you don’t give up, and he kills you’.

Bobby Deol reveals that there was a kissing scene in the film between him and Ranbir Kapoor which was removed in the theater version but might be there in the Netflix version.

Bobby was also asked about the scene in which Ranbir and Bobby lay on top of each other in the climactic scene. He said that Sandeep told him, “You know what, Bobby? I want you to punch him and lie on top of him.”  The idea was to show Bobby as more powerful.
