Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri’s name has suddenly come into the limelight because of her sister Alia. It is reported that Aliya has killed her ex-boyfriend Edward Jacobs and his girlfriend.
Aliya is accused of setting fire to a two-story garage in Queens, New York, causing the victims to have trouble breathing in the smoke and die of thermal injuries. Aliya has been arrested in this case and has not yet been granted bail.
District Attorney Melinda Katz said in a statement, “Aliya killed two people by setting a fire in the wrong way, causing a man and a woman to be trapped in the flames. The victims died tragically due to smoke and thermal injuries.”
Nargis Fakhri has not yet commented on the matter, but her mother has definitely defended Aliya. She expressed disbelief at the allegations and said, The actress’ mother said, ‘I don’t think she would kill anyone. She was a person who took care of everyone. She tried to help everyone.’
At the same time, a witness said, ‘We smelled something burning. I don’t know if it was gasoline or something else. We ran outside and saw that the sofa on the stairs was on fire. We had to jump on that sofa to get both of them out. Star jumped with me but went back inside to save Jacobs. Aliya used to tell everyone earlier that she would burn his house, she would kill him. We just used to laugh at her.’
According to The Post, Edward, Jacobs’ mother revealed that Jacobs and Aliya had ended their relationship a year before the tragic incident. Despite the breakup, Aliya reportedly continued to pursue him. The report also clarified that Jacobs and Etienne (current girlfriend) were not in a romantic relationship but just friends.
