Madhubala is considered the most beautiful, iconic and best actress in the history of Bollywood. The actress’s lifespan was small, but her life story was big and worldwide known. And to bring her life in front of the public, a biopic based on the actress’s life has been officially announced.
In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, a source close to the awaited upcoming project revealed a lot of details. Madhubala’s sister Madhur Brij Bhushan is leading the production of this exciting project.

A source close to the development also quoted, “Going by a highly enthusiastic response, there’s no room for doubt that the Madhubala biopic is an extremely hot property amongst studios and talents. In fact, many top actors including a couple of reigning female stars, as well as top filmmakers are keenly interested in collaborating on the project. But makers are in no hurry vis-à-vis collaborations. So, no studio/production house or talents have been roped in yet for the said film.”

The news about a biopic on Madhubala’s life was doing rounds on social media and buzzed all around for years. But it is now when the film is officially announced and that too by Madhubala’s family. Bhushan also stated that none other than the veteran actress’ family is allowed to make a biopic on Madhubala’s life.
While expressing her views about her sister’s biopic, Bhushan also stated, ‘It has been my long-standing dream to do something for my beloved sister, who lived a very short yet momentous life. All my sisters and I have joined hands to make this dream come true. With God’s blessings, and dedication of my partners – Arvindji, Prashant and Vinay, I am confident that this biopic will be made successfully on a grand level. We need everyone’s blessings to put together this project beautifully.’
