Superhit  Bollywood song Chamma Chamma from the movie China Gate, released in 1998 is sung by Alka Yagnik, and filmed on the very gorgeous actress Urmila Matondkar. The song was featured in Hollywood movie Moulin Rouge which was released in 2001. 

Chaiyya Chaiyya in Inside Man (2006) 

The blockbuster Hindi song Chaiyya Chaiyya from Shahrukh Khan, Manisha Koirala and Preity Zinta’s superhit movie Dil Se is sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Sapna Awasthi. This evergreen melody has been featured in the end credits of the popular Hollywood movie Inside Man. 

Mera Joota Hai Japani & Kabhi Humne Nahi Socha Tha. in Deadpool (2016) 

What else can be more fascinating than realizing that superhit and forever in demand Hollywood movie; Deadpool featured not one, but two Bollywood songs. The first was Raj kapoor’s ‘Mera Joota Hai Japani’ sung by Mukesh from Bollywood movie Shree 420. And the second one was Kabhi Humne Nahi Socha Tha in the voice of legendary singer Mohammed Rafi from the movie ‘Tumse Achha Kaun Hai’.

Mera Mann Tera Pyasa & Wada Na Tod in Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004) 

Mohammed Rafi sahib undoubtedly is leading the list till now, because here we have another song in his voice which has been featured in a Hollywood movie. Mera Mann Tera Pyasa from Gambler starring Dev Anand featured in Hollywood movie Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, released in 2004. This foreign movie also featured another Bollywood song ‘Wada Na Tod’ in the voice of Lata Mangeshkar from the movie Dil Tujhko Diya.

Chalka Chalka Re & Mujhe Rang De in Accidental Husband (2008) 

Hollywood Movie Accidental Husband which was released in 2008 featured two Bollywood songs. The first was Chalka Chalka Re from Saathiya and the second one is Mujhe Rang De by Asha Bhosle from the movie Thakshak. 

Jimmy Jimmy’ in You Don’t Mess With The Zohan 

The tune of superhit song Jimmy Jimmy from blockbuster Bollywood movie ‘Disco Dancer’ picturised on Mithun Chakraborty is a part of a fight sequence in Hollywood movie You Don’t Mess With The Zohan.

Lehron Ki Tarah Yaadein in Shaun Of The Dead (2004) 

In the voice of legendary singer, Kishore Kumar, Bollywood song ‘Lehron Ki Tarah Yaadein’ was featured in Shaun Of The Dead released in 2004. The Hollywood movie starred Simon Pegg, Kate Ashfield, Lucy Davis and more. 

Mundian To Bach Ke in The Dictator (2011) 

Popular Punjabi song ‘Mundian To Bach Ke’ from Amitabh Bachchan’s Boom is another Bollywood song which was featured in a Hollywood movie. The Punjabi MC’s song has been featured in the official trailer of The Dictator, released in 2011. 

Jaan Pehchaan in Ghost World (2001) 

Jaan Pehchaan from Bollywood movie Gumnaam was sung by Mohammed Rafi, and was featured in the opening credits of Hollywood Movie Ghost World. 

Chori Chori Hum Gori Se Pyaar Karenge in The Guru (2002) 

The superhit song Chori Chori Chupke Chupke from Mela, picturised on Amir Khan, Faisal Khan and Twinkle Khanna was later picturised on Jimi Mistry in Hollywood movie The Guru. 

Bombay Theme in Lord Of War (2005)

The theme music of superhit Indian movie ‘Bombay’ composed by AR Rahman, was used in Hollywood movie Lord of War.

Urvashi in Lion (2016)

AR Rahman’s Urvashi was also featured in Lion, released in 2016.
