After Delhi police questioned her partner Aftab Amin Poonawalla, the murder of the 27-year-old Mumbai-born Sharadha Madan shocked the masses. Notably, the preliminary inquiry indicates that Aftab chopped hir girlfriend into as many as 35 pieces, k*lling her brutally over an argument. Moreover, he scattered her body parts all across the national capital.

However, a Delhi court has now sentenced the accused Aftab to five days in police custody for killing his girlfriend. Furthermore, an investigation has been is ongoing to find the actual reason behind Sharadha Madan’s murder. The police officers have started questioning Sharadha’s boyfriend Aftab who k*lled her brutally.
• Who Was Sharadha Madan?
Sharadha Madan, 27, hailed from Palghar, Maharashtra. Notably, Sharadha was a call center employee and she met Aftab at the office. Reportedly, he was one of her colleagues in the call center. Moreover, when Sharadha and Aftab met each other, they fell in love and wanted to marry each other. However, Sharadha’s parents disagreed to this, after which she left Mumbai and went to Delhi to live with her boyfriend Aftab.
As per the media reports, Vikas Madan, Sharadha’s father, in a statement given to media, said, “She wanted to marry her boyfriend Aftab Amin Poonawalla, but when we objected and didn’t agree, she left Mumbai and started living with Aftab in Delhi. Reportedly, both of them bought an apartment in Chhatarpur. However, Sharadha’s father said that since May he hasn’t spoken to his daughter.
Furthermore, Sharadha’s father Vikas Madan filed an FIR at Mehrauli police station on 8th of November. Shockingly, after the police initiated the probe, they found that Sharadha’s boyfriend Aftab Amin Poonawalla brutally cut her body in 35 pieces using a sharp weapon and scattered them all across Delhi. Surprisingly, he was living in the same flat even after murdering Sharada to avoid any suspicion.
However, now Aftab Amin Poonawalla is under police custody and the officials and has been questioned in the matter. Moreover, despite various efforts by several NGOs and Delhi police, these type of brutal crimes have scared the masses. Though the investigation is ongoing and the police officials are trying to find the reason behind Sharadha’s murder, questioning her boyfriend Aftab.
