Heroines like Tabu, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor have shown their skills and talent in long format series. Now a new generation of heroine like Ananya Pandey has also appeared on OTT with her web series Call Me Bae. This story of director Colin D’Cunha seems to be inspired by Emily in Paris, but the director has molded it in a desi style by setting it on the backdrop of Delhi-Mumbai.

The story is about Bela Choudhary aka ‘Bey’, a rich girl from Delhi, for whom her mother (Mini Mathur) has made a wonderful plan. Under this plan, Bey is to be given a life of luxury in a rich house. Raised in luxury, Bey also dreams of living a life of prosperity with the well-known business tycoon Agastya Choudhary (Vihaan). Her husband Agastya does not give her time, but Bey has been trained to become a trophy wife.

Her mother’s planning goes in vain when she is caught due to her intimate relationship with her personal gym trainer (Varun Sood). Bey has to pay the price of this mistake in the form of being thrown out of the house. And from here on, Bey’s life changes 360 degrees. Bey, who was brought up with pampering till yesterday, has to leave the life of wealth and fame in Delhi and come to the streets of Mumbai. Overnight she becomes poor from rich. Now begins Bey’s journey to find her own identity. Who will support Bey? Will Bey, who lives like a princess, be able to find her place in Mumbai or will she just become Bey, you will find out this when you watch the series.
