Popular Canadian rapper Pat Stay was murdered on 4 September 2022. He was 36-year-old and was well known for battles, insults, freestyling and stage work with other singers. He rose to fame and was one of the emerging artists in Canada.
On Sunday (4 September), Patrick Wayne Stay, popularly known as Pat Stay was stabbed to death in Nova Scotia, Canada. The police are considering the case of Stay’s death a homicide. The incident happened in downtown Halifax early Sunday morning. Police discovered Stay with stab wounds and transported him to a nearby hospital, where he later died, Halifax Regional Police said in a statement.

The dead body of Pat Stay was discovered by the police in downtown Halifax with stab wounds. He was then rushed to a local hospital where he later died. For now, no arrests concerned with the case have been made, but the investigation is on.
After the news of Pat Stay’s death went viral and made headlines, various artists from the community paid tribute to the late artist.

The internet is also flooded with tribute and remembrance messages dedicated to Pat Stay. His fans and admirers are in utmost shock and gloom.
A GoFundMe fundraiser has been organized to raise donations to help Pat Stay’s family. Till now, more than $100,000 have been already raised. Pat Stay is survived by his wife Malyssa and children; 10-year-old daughter Alaura and 5-year-old son Calvin.

The fundraiser’s message reads, “He has been taken from the world far to soon and many will be devastated forever. Pat Stay was a very honorable man who was on his way to a bright future. Our heart hurts for his family and friends at this time so we hope to help ease some of the pain by ensuring his family has help through this process.”
