CBSE Allows Second Chance for Class 12 Hindi Exam Amid Holi Celebrations

In a thoughtful move to support students during festive times, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to provide another chance for Class 12 students who may miss their Hindi board exam on March 15, 2025, due to Holi celebrations.

This decision brings relief to many families, especially in areas where Holi festivities might extend beyond March 14, making it difficult for students to appear for their exams the next day.

While the Hindi Core (Code 302) and Hindi Elective (Code 002) exams will take place as scheduled, CBSE acknowledges that in some regions, the festival’s extended celebrations could pose challenges. To ensure fairness, students who are unable to take the exam on March 15 will be given an alternative date.

The announcement has been met with appreciation from both students and parents, who are thankful for the board’s flexibility in balancing academic commitments with cultural traditions.

With the Class 12 board exams running from February 15 to April 4, 2025, CBSE’s move reflects its commitment to accommodating students’ needs while maintaining academic integrity.

Students affected by this scheduling conflict are advised to coordinate with their schools to avail themselves of the rescheduled exam date.
