
In an unusual burglary case that has left many stunned, a man was caught on CCTV dancing joyfully in a school parking lot moments before committing theft. The incident took place in the early morning hours of April 23 at a school in Sunbury, Victoria, Australia, as reported by Sky News.
Security footage shows a silver Holden Commodore pulling into the school’s car park. Shortly after, a man stepped out of the vehicle and began dancing, spinning, and even jumping with apparent excitement before proceeding to commit the crime.

According to Victoria Police, the suspect broke into one of the school buildings and stole over $5,000 worth of equipment, including three laptops and a projector.
The bizarre behavior of the thief has captured public attention, with authorities even adding humor to their alert. “Detectives are appealing for public assistance in identifying a thief who was feeling the groove before he stole laptops from a school,” Victoria Police posted on Facebook. They described him as a “not-so-smooth operator” while sharing the CCTV clip online.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, medium build, with long dark brown hair. During the burglary, he wore a red and black hooded jumper, blue gloves, black runners, and a red headband.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the crime to come forward, as investigations are ongoing.
