Melvin Louis who is a professional and celebrity dancer and choreographer had decided to donate his hair to make wigs for cancer fighters. Surprising is the fact that Melvin took this decision many years back and after the wait of 8 years, he has finally chopped off his hair.
He shared a motivating note on his Instagram Account with a picture of his chopped off hair. He wrote,
‘I had started growing my hair to donate it to cancer and finally the day has arrived ❤️ Years back I used to have shoulder length hair when I was made to realise that hair donations help make a wig for a cancer victim and ever since I started growing it but in the process a few of my videos went viral I had to make the tough choice of keeping my look intact and had to wait longer than expected to donate it but that also meant I could grow it longer to donate .. I’m glad it’s finally being served for the purpose it was grown and meant for ❤️Though some of you who already knew why I was growing it ( as I have mentioned in some of my interviews ) and those who didn’t know .. well .. now you know .. Most times you can’t donate your hair if it’s chemically treated or coloured so I had to patiently wait and I never experimented with them !
