The sequel to Chal Mera Putt is set to make its official worldwide release on 27 August. The first part of the series is the most successful Punjabi movie ever overseas, till date. Chal Mera Putt 2 had officially released in theatres before the nationwide lockdown but Coronavirus forced the movie out of theatres and it’s been over a year we’ve been waiting for it to re-release.
Few days ago the Chal Mera Putt 2 team announced that the film was finally coming to theatres on 27 August. Amrinder Gill announced the release date of the movie in an Instagram post and also added that it is an updated version of the previous release. This made fans very skeptical about what has been updated in the movie this time.
It seems that the answer to this has been revealed. One of the most popular female Punjabi singers, Shipra Goyal recently uploaded a story on her Instagram handle and wrote ‘Chal Mera Putt 2, Surprise Soon’. It is very evident that Shipra Goyal will have some part to play in the movie for sure.
Shipra Goyal will have a song in the movie Chal Mera Putt 2. The song will also have a feature of Gurshabad Singh, who is also playing a major character in the movie. Speculations are that it is going to be a promotional song. In the original version of Chal Mera Putt 2 released before lockdown, Shipra Goyal did not have any feature in the movie but this time she beholds a surprise for the fans.
It is a big surprise for Chal Mera Putt 2 fans. Earlier, Garry Sandhu had been added to the star cast of the film and had an important role to play. His feature also came as a surprise to the fans when it was revealed in the official trailer. Now, Shipra Goyal’s secret addition in the film has also been made official.
