Sidhu Moosewala’s debut film, Moosa Jatt, was delayed in India and failed to obtain the certification from the censor board. But it was successfully released overseas on the same date, 1 October, 2021. Rrupaali Gupta, producer of Moosa Jatt, allegedly took a dig at the Chal Mera Putt team by saying that the rival team knowingly announced CMP 3 to be released on the same date as Moosa Jatt, which was announced a lot earlier.
Now, in an interview, the brother of Amrinder Gill & producer of Chal Mera Putt 3 was asked about his thoughts on this matter. “The sequel and threequel of Chal Mera Putt was about to get released very near to each other but it somehow did not happen. The opposite team (Moosa Jatt) are blaming us for the cancellation of the censorship of their film. Every film has to go through it, strong teams make changes and acquire censorship but maybe it is their style that they are not ready to make changes.”, says Karaj.
Sidhu Moosewala Speaks Up After His Film Moosa Jatt Fails To Acquire Certification From Censor Board
Further he says that it is good if the rival team thinks that we have this much power in our hands that they can delay any film from its release. It isn’t that easy to do. “They are experienced people, I don’t know why they are blaming us. Everybody does publicity stunts to get some fame, maybe it’s their style and point of view. I am also amazed to see them blaming us”, he adds.
Karaj Gill concluded the talk by saying that he admired Rrupali Gupta as she was a continuous support to farmers. But now doing all this and blaming others might be their business.
Let us just hope that everything goes well and Moosa jatt obtains censorship from the Central Board of Film Certification and gets released in India very soon.
