Pitaara TV, the first Punjabi-based movie channel of the world, has officially launched the biggest Multi-regional streaming platform of the world. ‘Chaupal’, the name of Pitaara TV’s newly launched OTT (over-the-top) platform, is a Punjabi word that signifies a community place where people gather for a specific purpose. In this case, Chaupal is an OTT platform where people from different ethnicities, languages, countries come together and experience endless entertainment.

Chaupal is the most recently launched streaming entertainment platform that gives the user access to the most popular and exclusive movies, web series, podcasts, music, documentaries and entertainment-based content from India and elsewhere. It generates world-class Punjabi, Haryanvi and Bhojpuri content to bring together people from different languages at one place. On its launch day, Chaupal has released as many as 12 originals (films and web series), 50 exclusives along with providing more than 300 movie offerings. It boasts of the largest Punjabi and Bhojpuri catalog in the world and is set to add up more titles as more and more viewers attach to the platform. It aims to release two new web series and two new movies every month to keep the audience entertainment-filled.

Partnerships
Chaupal is ready to take things to the next and the bigger level by partnering with some of the biggest brands of the country. Multinational electronics company Xiaomi is Pitaara TV’s major partner for Chaupal. Paul Merchants is the other big name to partner with Pitaara TV for the OTT platform.
