Cheerleader Performs With Injured Arm At IPL, Fans Slam BCCI For Not Caring About Public’s Welfare

In the midst of this IPL fever gripping the nation, where every evening is reserved for cricket, a weird scene has emerged on the grounds of this prestigious tournament which has managed to captivate the attention of fans, diverting their focus momentarily from the players, matches, and glorious victories.

At Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, Gujarat Titans (GT) won their home leg of the IPL 2023 tournament by a stunning 34 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Even though the home crowd was pleased with their team’s victory, which was played for a special cause to raise awareness of cancer, many were disappointed by a video that was shown during the game.

In the clip, the center cheerleader was wearing an arm sling when the camera filmed the GT innings’ second and third overs.

The fans slammed the Sunrisers franchise and the organizers of the IPL for not caring about the public’s welfare. Some netizens raised the question of whether it was ‘dedication or obligation.’ Others have criticized the BCCI and IPL for having her perform despite her hand being in plaster.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is out of the race for the final four due to their defeat. Aside from SRH, Delhi Capitals are out of the IPL 2023 playoffs race too. Seven teams are competing for three playoff spots in the IPL 2023. Those spots are likely to be filled by the Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians, and Chennai Super Kings. However, any surprise cannot be ruled out given this year’s difficult completion. However, Sunrisers Hyderabad will play their next match with Royal Challengers on 18th May 2023.
