Directed by Amrinder Gill and written by Amberdeep Singh, the Amrinder Gill starrer ‘Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya’ is set to be released on 29 July, 2022. Its official teaser has been dropped on Youtube and honestly, this was exactly what we were expecting.
The movie appears to be set in old London, probably before the Indian Independence. One thing that you notice immediately in the teaser is the brilliant cinematography and camerawork! Old London is definitely a marvelous setting for shooting a movie but it isn’t everyone’s piece of cake to get it right. But, Amrinder Gill appears to have cracked the code with Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya.

“Punjab diya maava’an nu, ya te shaheed mile aa, ya pardesi, putt te kade nseeb hi ni hoye”.
The dialogue in Amrinder Gill’s voice is enough to give you chills and also a hint at what we can expect from the movie. The teaser has various scenes of turban-wearing Sikhs, probably soldiers, saving lives. “The story of those who settled others by desolating themselves”, reveals the teaser.
The background score adds the intensity to the movie. What we know so far is that Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya is not the regular comedy drama you see in the Punjabi Movie Industry. Nor is it a casual love story! It is a story of Punjab’s valor, Punjab’s sacrifice and sons born on the Punjab Soil.
Amberdeep Singh and Amrinder Gill is one duo that can never disappoint their fans. Both are masters of their own fields and their coming together is going to be nothing less than a masterpiece!
